Benefits of East Tennessee Woodworkers' Guild Membership
Membership in the East Tennessee Woodworkers' Guild affords members the opportunity to attend regularly scheduled meetings, with others that are interested in the craft of woodworking.
Members are interested in all areas of woodworking, including furniture making, cabinet making, turning, intarsia, marquetry, refinishing, carving, sculpture, boat building and guitar building.
Members receive a bimonthly newsletter, as well as a Directory of their fellow members. This Directory facilitates communication with others of like interest, an important benefit to all members.
Members have access to information on local sources for woodworking products, as well as mail order and internet availability.
Members enjoy special purchasing benefits for our corporate friends, such as:
- A special discount from Woodcraft, during the summer months
- Access to A & M Supply’s normally commercial only facility
There are also other member activities available throughout the year, such as the annual ETWG picnic, visits to fellow member's workshops, or an occasional field trip to venues with some woodworking interest. The Guild also sponsors juried woodworking exhibits and symposiums, where our members can submit their works for exhibit, along with other members and fellow woodworkers from around the South.
Annual dues are only $50.
Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to attend the next regular meeting.
