Class Description: An Introduction to Veneering
The class will focus on veneering basics. While primarily a talk and demo format there may, however, be some hands on opportunity, but we are not making a project. Each of the following discussion topics will be include as time permits:
Types of veneer.
Types of substrates.
Types of adhesives.
Clamping options.
Edge banding.
Pattern lay-ups.
Each of these topics could take well over and hour to discuss and we will get to as many as we can comfortably cover.
Note: this class is full. If you wish to attend your name will be added to a wait list. Usually one or two students cancel because of a conflict that arises.
